It all began in July 2019 at Tequila Mamas. Chris first spotted Amanda across the room, captivated by something more than just her beauty—though it wasn’t until a month later, surrounded by her girlfriends and laughter, that he finally got a proper glimpse of those “beautiful smiling eyes.”

Even though sparks flew, the timing wasn’t quite right. For four months, Chris admired Amanda from afar, waiting for the right moment. One day, he sent her a message—asking for a haircut recommendation, though they both knew it wasn’t really about the haircut.

When Amanda suggested he just book an appointment, Chris dropped the act:
"You know it’s not about the haircut, right?"
Amanda teased, "What?"
"I want to take you out because I think you’re beautiful."
She smirked, "I can’t go out with you—you’re too young for me."
"How old do you think I am?"
With perfect aim, she said, "Aren’t you like... 38?"
Chris, having just turned 50, burst out laughing.
"I know it’s early in our relationship, but I have to tell you—I LOVE YOU."

That moment broke the ice, and Amanda agreed to one date. Just one.
But that one night changed everything. They haven’t spent a night apart since.
